Giving Thanks

It's about time for another giveaway. Since Thanksgiving is coming up though, it's going to be run a little differently than usual. Up for grabs are 3 Clementine Dishtowels printed on unbleached cotton towels. To "win" please post a brief comment telling us about someone you feel grateful to have in your life. Rather than sending you the free towel, we'll ship it off to the person who has made your life a little better. Please make sure to give us a way to contact you! We'll post our favorite 3 comments on Thanksgiving day.
By the way, if you think this doesn't sound like Cristina, you're right (it's Jenny).

Oh this is such a wonderful idea! And those towels are just beautiful! I really hope I can "win" this for my mother. She is the person I feel most grateful to have in my life. Not only has she always been there for me throughout my entire life but I came very close to loosing her about a year ago. She suffered from a stroke but I am very happy to say that she is finally back to herself now!

It was then though that I realized just how much she meant to me. We weren't always the closest mother and daughter and I probably didn't appreciate her as much as I really should have, but I can tell you I certainly do now. She deserves everything in the world, and yes even this gorgeous towel ; ).

She is actually in the middle of remodeling her kitchen, something she has wanted to do for years and finally decided to just do it. It hasn't been changed since they build their house about 24 years ago! I know this towel would make a wonderful addition to it and that she would be very grateful.

Thank you so much for this opportunity!

Im grateful for my grandmother. She is old and I never thought she would be. She is going to be 83 in december.

She is so cool she used to be a belly dancer and taught lessons at her studio when I was a kid.I was also in her dance troop.

She is irish and swedish and took up dancing in her 50s and also learned how to drive at that time too.She drove a silver mustang. She still loves to cook too...sometimes it doesnt always turn out though although that happens to me too.

I felt really sad the other day when my mom told me she wished she could see my 2 and half year old daughter when she turns 15.

Anyway there are so many cool things about louise and Im pretty lucky to have a cool chick like her for a grandmother!

Love this idea :) I'm grateful for my husband. I haven't paid a bill for the past 3 years... I'm privileged to be a SAHM (stay at home mom) because of him. I take that for granted some days :) I've never seen him complain about having to go to the office - that's admirable. I'd like the towel sent to my mom - I appreciate her tons too... she's the world's best grandma. She ROCKS!

Those are lovely dish towels! :D I'm grateful for my youngest sister who's all the way in Rhode Island going to school to become a bakery chef. Not only does she make the most delicious deserts, but she's always there for me when I need someone to talk to. It's funny how she can be the more "mature" or "wise" one at times. :P I miss her lots and won't be seeing her until next Summer.

Thanks for hosting this lovely giveaway!

I am grateful for my great grandma. She recently turned 90 years old and is still just as wild spirited and determined as always. She has always worked very hard to make sure everyone in our family is happy and healthy. She had a very rough but inspiring life that she tells me about all the time. Stories of the depression, moving to Ca, the war, her husband's old Harley, her tons of different jobs, and her old farm are always some of my favorites to hear. Everyday I spend with her is a gift.

First off what a thoughtful gesture to turn into a contest.

I am thankful for a my older sister...being seven years older...in many ways she was like a second mom...she always looked after me..took care of me...even took me on dates when I am sure I was annoying and a pest...she took it all in stride...
I never understood why other siblings didnt get along and bickered alot...sure we had our fair share but not that bad...
even now as adults, she is patient with me..and kind always looking out for me..always has the time...I can be myself around her and she is always observant...one of my true companions in life...she knows where we both come from and she is the only other person in the world who can know what that is like. And I truly respect and cherish that bond.
We have a hard time talking about our feelings but since we both know that we try really hard to address it often.
I marvel each time at how similair and yet different we came out...
I dont know if she know just how much she means to me...and I dont think it I can even put it down in words...so maybe entering this contest was bogus idea for me..but I had to try..because I am oh so thankful to have her in my life and she deserves something nice.
